Maximizing your IMVU Graphics Tutorials
I was thinking that we as a community could put together a tutorial thread for maximizing your IMVU graphics. (such as the antialias settings).
I remember there was an old thread for NVDIA back in the good old days.
At the time I had Intel, so I had to figure out how to do the antialias myself. I have Radeon now so I could make a picture tutorial for that. I thought it would be useful if we could put a thread together for that because it is one of those things I end up walking a lot of people through. (thankfully I have the NVDIA video bookmarked for those users)
Layouts are a bit different between the different types of cards so I was thinking if yours look different you could add to the thread?
I am not sure where to put such tutorials since they are not really for creating, but for making IMVU nicer.

Thanks XD I was sleepy when I posted the topic. I was also walking through a Radeon and Intel User on how to enable the Anti-Aliasing.Notorious Chicka wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2017 3:20 pmI would slide that into the "Graphics" section

And it displayed something like this?
The file path %AppData%\IMVUClient\IMVUClient.exe should also work. It takes you directly to the AppData/Roaming directory, whatever the current user is.
Also, to maximize the IMVU window for the best screen resolution one should toggle F11. The Windows taskbar can also be set so it only shows on mouseover and collapses otherwise. At least these tricks can be used if you're shooting HD video.

I did not mean maximizing the window size (Lol but that is useful...tbh so many times I am in chat and someone hits F11 by accident and wonders where their tabs went. )Elaini wrote: ↑Sun Jun 18, 2017 5:12 pmAnd it displayed something like this?

That is the video I meant too.

Re: Maximizing your IMVU Graphics Tutorials
I was the one who made that video, I am "Renew3D". I still have in plans to update it as an HD version. But the basic idea still works, somewhat - to allow your GPU driver take charge of the IMVU graphics instead of the client itself. The FXAA setting etc etc. are newer options in the menu.
Unless someone else manages to recreate the thread for these forums first, I will do it.

I always loved that setting of antialias. I think the first time i tried the client with it, i was like *_* and now every time i reinstall, i have a screenshot of the settings so i can do it right away. This is awesome, and it bothers me that other people still see imvu with all those jagged edges on their screenshots lolol.
