Money or Credits Errors in the IMVU Income

Basically, the Fraudulent Transaction Reversal *may* be screwed up and there is an investigation going on.

Here is what is happening currently. Some people are seeing the reversal removed with a Negative Number. Some are seeing the Reversal removed with a Positive number. Most everyone agrees the reversal should be set back to an income of Zero rather than either of the other two.

It originally said the same amount on each reversal as a positive number adding to my income. That is fine and normal. If there is an issue the number should be set back to a Zero as this is not a double-sided ledger accounting system but a single-entry system. The number should be changed from say 9 cents back to zero cents. Some are seeing the negative or -9 cents and the difference there is 18 cents. Do you get it, yet?

ShannonMac is asking for input. If you go to your Cash Income Report or your Credits Income report and see positive or negative number there, please report the issue. Set the dates on your reports and search the HTML page fo rhte word Reversed to find them more quickly.

Yes exactly!

I can't get IMVU (in muy help tickets) to tell me if this money is being subtracted "back to zero" or double dipped.

It seems no one in support understands the difference between a double sided accounting ledger and single sided one.

If this is a true single sided entry, then the transaction should be corrected to a zero and not taken to a negative number. A negative number would mean they took the credits back and took them again.

Many people are having transactions showing a zero on the reversals. The concern is those like myself who are having the negative number are being taken for double the reversal. Think about all the reversals since 2013 and how many were negative and what do these all total over the years? OMG...

Okay... REALLY? What are they going to do about it and what has the negative number subtracted from my income over the years!!!!
I will be re-wording that over the weekend in response to the support agent and hoefully they acn give me an answer...
