Bwahaha, I was saying that too.
They need to take "Create" OUT of client, like it use to be originally. I was in the middle of working on meshes I wanted to submit....so I know the feeling. I got 2 out of the three I wanted to submit. I ended up staying up late trying to finish everything.....bleh...need to stop pushing myself too hard right now.
It sucks when it crashes because I have certain things I set up for certain projects. I do have a couple rooms for creating, but sometimes i try on outfits or actions or have the camera on a certain angle when I am looking at a certain area. (I do wish when we saved our projects we could have it save the settings like that..but eh). It doesn't seem like so much...but if you crash a few times....it starts getting really annoying.

I hate to think about that Roy, but I do fear that day will come eventually. I do hate that I enjoy a lot about IMVU today cause when that day comes I know there will be many mixed emotions on my part. Do I stay? Do I just say enough with a company who cares little about their users and go? Ahh I made the joke that maybe they were making the changes of getting rid of the client and once everything was back online, everything would be on Next....creating etc, no more client and more ugly Next. I ended up scaring myself tho.

But yea this down time is very annoying. I was actually planning on coming here and posting a message calling out IMVU and my bets that today IMVU would be down again. But I was fully expecting it to happen in a couple hour's from now so I wasn't in a rush to make that post. IMVU surprised me and did it early instead. Lol.
You are right, IMVU Next is a great idea. When you think about the concept it would be great if IMVU Next worked. One of my main issues with it is that for me IMVU is all about the 3D chat. Two things, we can talk and that has always been the biggest part of IMVU of course, but also the avatars and what you see in the top half of the screen. In Next, most of the time when person A using Next is sitting on a couch, person B using the client can't see where they are sitting. Tbh,, I think IMVU Next is embarassing. The idea behind it is nice..but it is slow af and glitchy.
I have a great computer now and great internet and IMVU Next will still crash me or rooms do not load so I end up popping in and crashing before I can say hi.
Hm, not just seeing them on default nodes, but Next users can not see when someone is on a couch sometimes...and then they end up "bumping" someone off of their spot. I tested this myself and invited my alt to the room and was able to bump my other account. I think they need to sync up Next and the Client so everyone knows where they are. As for the attacks. I kinda was thinking the same thing. The last couple times IMVU went down I did notice a bit of glitchy lag just before it go's down. That tells me that someone might be flooding the server until it gets overwhelmed and finally crashes. Think is most of the time from what I experienced elsewhere when people take down servers like that they crash and come right back up, then are attacked again only to crash again. It is really hard to tell when all IMVU will ever tell you is "We are aware of this issue and working on resolving it."
