Locked furniture moving around

Post by Quantum » Sat Apr 08, 2017 6:29 pm

Hi, I recently had a customer experiencing a problem where her furniture moved after reloading, despite being locked. I asked her if she was using addon furniture nodes but she wasn't, so that was not the source of the problem.

Is this problem to do with how I make skeletons for my rooms or a bug with imvu?

There is a bug in IMVU that has been affecting a lot of people. Myself included. Every so often I find things like rug's moved, furniture items sitting on top of the load-in area and things like that. I have tried many different ways of putting the furniture back out but nothing seems to really work right now. Not sure when this issue might be fixed but I can't really say if it has anything to do with how you rig your mesh. Maybe a mesh master could better answer that part. :D

Just to note that "locking" furniture doesn't prevent glitches when loading. All it does is disable the other decorating tools to prevent accidental movement.

With regards to the room skeleton being at fault I've only seen something similar when handle numbers were mismatched with seat numbers. Other than that I believe the blame lies with a shoddy IMVU update.
