Disagreeing IMVU's priorities is "off topic"

Post by Elaini » Fri Nov 03, 2017 9:33 pm

In the main forum some messages were deleted... in this thread.

My comment was there and someone else's as well. Both were pointing out that instead of adding new features to the mobile app or Next improving client and the classic site should be paid the most attention to, without breaking anything of course.

In don't recall the window dressing censorship for the "off topic" happening in the original forums after a bit of disagreement, and I don't think they were entirely off topic either since they were real reactions to it - I'm not a bot and neither is she. I also explained the original site's long ignored problems in detail, such as the outdated group system and search algorithm because I'm tired of it and I knew the threads are better watched in that forum than elsewhere.

I didn't use any profanity either. I thought about the wording very carefully so I'm a little disappointed.

I think I get the message, ShannonMac. Disagreeing IMVU's priorities is off topic. But they cannot touch the 3rd party site and social media posts... such as here. ;) How was it again...?

I sort of want to argue with the staff about this, but I know they have the upper hand.

Yeah, not that it's an exception or anything...

The staff just seems very biased right now. We must agree the ToS yes, but nowhere it says that we must agree with their present priorities. Aren't they overstepping their authority a bit when they try to control the display of those opinions?
