Re: IMVU Badge For this Forum?

I disagree with changing badges after they have been collected. It's irritating and for me, just as bad as devs who change their customer's products. :|

Re: Deriving Head Issue

Two other things to check are that the Mesh Scale box is ticked: Image

and the Node Name matches the bone you are scaling: Image

They should already be set up correctly but it's worth checking.

Re: |furniture| [Floor bunny] *request*

Yay! Thank you! I'll have to map it properly first but I'll let you know when it's done :D Ok :D I can't wait. I came up with an idea using the same mesh if you changed the tail into a puppy tail. I would also like to make a floor puppy! You can shape the tail a little better then my drawing. lol h...

Will do. Thanks for the feedback!

*edit to add*
Updated. I've left the first version shrunk behind the new so you should see 2 bunnies if your cache has updated, if you only see one you'll need to clear it. :)

Re: Scaling items in client?

Yep, I explain how you can make your own scalers here: viewtopic.php?f=17&p=1697#p1697

Once you've learned how to make a scaler the next step of combining it with a derivable mesh to make a scaled product is a doddle. ;)

Re: Help! My Product Got Re-Rated. INFO THREAD

(Not sure if I'm supposed to reply here or start a new topic.) So, I derived a version of Lucille from TWD from Keodi, and I made two versions, one where she is 'thirsty' and one where she is 'drunk'. Well, the drunk one of course has blood and what MAY be bits of flesh, hair etc. in the barbed wir...

Re: |furniture| [Floor bunny] *request*

I would like to request a mesh based off of this drawing. Don't make the eyes but please make the map for the face nice so the details are not blurry or stretched as much as you possibly can avoid. I would like it if I could set mine as derivable as well since you will have this in your catalog. Al...

Re: Poly's Opacity Mapping Tutorial

Sorry Roy, haven't checked in here for a while! That is a good idea, I shall do so. Although I am not sure how to explain what additive does :P It is hard to explain because it's one of those things that is better experimented with to see if it works with the rest of the product. Basically you don'...

I like this part from their website:
"Imagine a virtual world where you, the user, are an integral part of its evolution,"
Yeah, and then they kick you in the teeth and turn it into a piece of crap for cellphone kiddies.

For those who may not know. Badboy is no longer a mod. We need him here! I believe he may already be a member but hasn't posted yet? I wonder if he quit imvu modship because of "Disgustions". I hope that was the reason and I wish the others would join him and leave imvu to run their own farce ... s...

Re: Locked furniture moving around

Just to note that "locking" furniture doesn't prevent glitches when loading. All it does is disable the other decorating tools to prevent accidental movement. With regards to the room skeleton being at fault I've only seen something similar when handle numbers were mismatched with seat numbers. Othe...

Re: How do you deal with rude messages?

Years ago I started out by calling them on their rudeness and usually giving as good as I got. Then I mellowed and tried being polite, ignoring the rudeness I would just deal with the subject. Now if someone is rude to me I tend to just delete without reading any further. Life is less draining if yo...

Re: Derivable / Custom Products

Strictly speaking if it's set to derivable then you can do whatever you like, derive, custom, hidden, zcd etc and you'll be fine with IMVU's rules. What you have to bear in mind is that arsey devs like that may try to give you grief or blacken your name somehow. That kind of thing doesn't bother me ...

I really wish there was a list of known thieves somewhere so I can avoid shopping them. T.T I kept a list of mesh thieves for years, mostly of people who rip stuff from games and other 3D artists, I was in a group with a few gaming experts and between us we'd positively verify where the stuff had b...

I made a quick and dirty mesh by chopping up the weighting avatar and added straight seams at the sides. I mapped it using cylinder. http://userimages-akm.imvu.com/userdata/78/88/49/61/userpics/Snap_hmaCtPwapC121064253.png http://userimages-akm.imvu.com/userdata/78/88/49/61/userpics/Snap_Gj0OakayEy1...
